Round Table - Munich 2007

Friday was a truly amazing day. As most everyone had started their day on the Thursday night, this turned into a 24 hour day. We met at Stansted airport at about 4am and within a few short hours we were in Salzburg. We were met by Peter Horner of Salzburg No.4 who took us to the Hotel Stein for a beer on one of what must be Europe’s most beautiful roof gardens.

And then after a brief tour by foot around some of Salzburg’s most notable buildings (including Mozart’s residents), Peter took us to lunch at one of number 4’s meeting restaurants where he kindly ‘chucked out’ Neil and Nigel.

Thanks Peter…………

We then moved onto Munich where we booked into the Hotel Italia and after enjoying a cake (brought in from the UK), we went to dinner with Stefan Konopatzki of Munich 50. What a night….. wonderful host, great food, fantastic beer and they even took us onto a club…….

I can’t remember what happened after that………
